The 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony, from the inside…

For those who know me, they know that I have literally spent my last 10 days completely addicted by the 2012 Olympics, I have no idea what it is, but it has made me near on, one of the MOST patriotic people in LDN, and Team GB did me hella proud.

BUT, having left it so late before getting in to it, it meant I couldn’t get tickets for anything, and was genuinely gutted – I HAD to support my team in person, day by day rolled by, day by day I couldn’t get tickets for ANYTHING. Then the night after young Mr Daley did us proud, I woke up, on the final day of the London Olympics to a text from Friend and fellow ‘Breaker’ Sharmadean Reid, who is currently working as Energy Manager for Nike, and, knowing / being bored of my Facebook updates on the subject of the 2012 London Olympics addiction (from medals to cute guys) offered me something that I will truly never forget – The chance to go to the Closing ceremony with Nike. I was giddy to say the least. So, after I calmed myself down, I headed down to 1948 to watch the Basketball final, snack on Ritas (see previous post) and then to jump in a car with Team Nike and head to the stadium, I was so excited when I arrived I decided my only option was to drink through it, lucky I did, as when we were finally seated in the Arena the only thing stopping me passing out was the sugar high from my pints – Front Row. I could reel on for hours about the show itself, but instead I’ll just say this – It Was AMazing, mind blowing and an experience I will NEVER forget…

To Shar, and Nike, Thank you xx
